Ferrybridge colleague takes part in Tour De Yorkshire

Roger Newbould, based in our Ferrybridge plant, took part in the ceremonial start of the race, leading 50 children who had been selected from local schools to ride the initial part of the course. The event took place in early May over a route that included Bridlington, Scarborough, Selby, York, Wakefield and Leeds.

Roger Newbould – who works at Siniat’s Ferrybridge plant – was proud to take part in the initial stage of the final day of the tour. Roger led a group of 50 children who had been selected from local schools to ride the initial part of the course for the ceremonial start of the race.
