Siniat, Promat and EOS Facades join forces to create Etex Building Performance

Our parent company, Etex Group, has created Etex Building Performance UK as part of a long-term initiative to become the construction sector’s leading provider of dry construction solutions. The division brings together ourselves as a leading manufacturer of drywall products and Promat, the leading specialist in passive fire protection.

On 8 April 2016, Siniat also acquired EOS Facades, a major provider of Steel Frame Systems, in recognition that Steel Frame Systems (SFS) form an important part of modern methods of lightweight construction.

As a result, Siniat, Promat and EOS Facades will be able to combine their technical expertise and R&D resources to provide new innovations to the dry construction sector. At the heart of Etex Building Performance’s strategy will be the creation of innovative new solutions aimed at reducing installation times and meeting specifiers’ performance requirements in the most efficient way.

The division will employ over 500 people, with major manufacturing sites in Bristol, Yorkshire and County Durham. It will be led by Neil Ash, the managing director of Siniat UK who will become Head of Etex Building Performance UK. Outlining his vision for the future, he said:

The three brands within Etex Building Performance complement each other and are well known for their innovation, high-quality manufacturing and technical know-how.”

From working with specifiers at the design stage through to providing subcontractors with dedicated technical on-site advice, Etex Building Performance will support its customers from the initial phase of a project, through to completion.

As recognised and successful brands in their own right, each will continue to trade separately in the UK as Siniat, Promat and EOS Facades.
