Siniat supports local community project in Lower Holloway

Previously a significant neglected storeroom in the block’s communal area, Siniat provided free-of-charge Siniat Thermal PIR Board and a range of compounds to enable maintenance contractor, the Mears Group, to undertake the work.

The DIY SOS-style project has created a Residents Hub into a multi-purpose room. Residents will use it to conduct tenant surgeries, workshops, training sessions, drop-in sessions to discuss tenancy issues – as well as provide an information station to help residents gain access to employment and other services.

Frances Punter, chairwoman of the tenants and residents’ association, said: “We are so happy that the project is such a success with the combined effort from Hyde and Mears, supported by Siniat, working together for a better community.”
