We’ve been quite noisy online recently.
You may’ve seen our crowns. Our op-eds. We certainly hope you’ve heard us shouting from the rooftops about our plant expansion.
This is not coincidental. And it’s about to get a whole lot noisier. It’s all a part of the masterplan.
It’s the result of an enormous amount of groundwork. Internal, and for the most part, unseen, but mission-critical all the same. Work to raise the bar. Of not just the reassurance our products and systems offer to our customers, but the service, the support, we provide to you.
Because our customers – that’s ours, and yours - deserve a system that evolves with their needs. One that is not creaking under the weight of its own red tape. The pace of change over the last few years, whilst undoubtedly and entirely necessary, has been at times, breathtaking. It’s not been simple for anyone.
The journey forward is very rarely linear. Adapting to this recent phase of evolution has demanded a great deal from us as an industry – the type of rigorous scrutiny that requires a willingness to be a little uncomfortable in the name of becoming better.
We acknowledge that this process has been, at times, challenging for everyone involved. Our industry partners, our clients and customers. All the while, we’ve taken the time to listen.
We’re constantly learning. Your feedback - often honest, often blunt, but always valuable - has given shape to the way we operate. It’s shone the light on key areas of focus.
In an industry that for so long has found itself home amongst the words “that’s just the way we’ve always done it”, we look to ask “but what if there was a better way?”. We have listened to your feedback, and we’re choosing a different path.
The reason you are reading this is that, today, we are sharing with you a major step in that journey.
We are formally taking responsibility for the system information and standard details we issue.
You can find the full details in our liability statement. We know that a decision like this comes with considerable weight. Rest assured that it’s a very carefully considered one. We believe that, for us, this is the right direction of progress.
We also acknowledge that a step like this might, for many of you, raise as many questions as it answers. Our teams will be on-hand to provide the same support and guidance you’ve come to expect from us.
For us, this change is not the end of a journey, but the start of one. We will keep challenging the status quo, keep within a feedback loop to improve the way we service our customers, and keep the push to do better.
Better is not an end goal, it’s an ongoing process. Only now, we are officially, legally, indubitably, responsible for helping to design it.
