Protecting your bathroom with the right plasterboard

Aqua Board resists water and helps prevent mould, fungal growth, water ingress, expansion cracks and helps prolong the life and durability of your walls.

Our Tile Backer Board offers water resistance with the additional strength benefits to support heavy larger format tiles.

Repel water

Bathrooms and wet-rooms are areas where standard plasterboard is ineffective, standard plasterboard will soak up water which can break
down the integrity of the wall and lead to mould and fungal growth.

The solution is to install a performance plasterboard designed for wet areas, Siniat's Aqua board offers this protection.

“I’m a builder and am currently renovating my bathroom at home.

It’s going to have a new walk-in shower and full bathroom suite.

I’ve taken out the old plasterboard and replaced it with Aqua board because it won’t absorb moisture. I can tile directly onto it and the grouting isn’t going to get mouldy."
